This course includes more than 18 hours of instruction. Classes meet one evening per week for eight consecutive weeks, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays, and include one Saturday session from 8:00 a.m. to noon. During the Saturday session, students will receive basic firearms safety training and have the opportunity to use the Sheriff’s Office firearms range.
